Like most fairy tales there was once a demon whose existence hindered peaceful existence. He lived in a dark castle with high walls that seemed to touched the dark sky. There was a legend that said that the castle had been enchantingly beautiful before the demon had put an evil spell on it. However, because of the high walls all people could see now were looming dark towers.
The legend also said that a hero would arise from the fide clan who will scale the wall and defeat the demon. Over the ages only one leader of the fide clan scaled the wall and defeated the demon, but died in the process. Before battling the hero, the cunning demon using dark magic had put a small portion of his life in a candle that could never be lit. The leader weakened by the battle with the demon could not destroy the candle.
After the heroes death the demon revived with time and started to gain strength. The people started to despair again and looked to the fide clan for help and generation after generation the leaders of the fide clan tried to scale the wall but failed.
This is the story of one such leader.
